What we collect, and why

What we collect

When you book or request a quote we collect the name, email address and phone number you give us, the program you are interested in, your dates and anything you choose to tell us in the notes or message field. If you book accommodation we also record that you are staying with a host family.

If you pay by card, the card details go straight to our payment provider and are never stored on this website. We keep only the last four digits and the payment reference, so we can match a refund to a booking.

Why we collect it

To confirm your reservation, schedule your classes, arrange accommodation and airport transfers, send you the student form, and reply when you ask us something. We also keep a record of what you have studied with us so we can apply the returning student rate and keep your progress.

Who else sees it

Our teachers, and — where a booking requires it — the host family, the airport transfer driver and our payment provider. Nobody else. We do not sell or share your details for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are a student and for a few years afterwards, so we can answer questions about past trips and re-issue paperwork. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, and we will do it apart from anything we are legally required to keep, such as payment records.

Reviews

Our student reviews are shown from our public Google profile, so you can see where each one came from. Leaving a review is always your choice, and we never ask for one in exchange for anything.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep your program selection between the booking steps, and to stop spam reaching the contact form. There is no advertising or tracking cookie on this site.

Your rights

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Write to us and a person will answer.
